The heroic everyday life was so monotonous that it seemed like any moment would send you into a cosmic apathy. Constant skirmishes with villains, endless briefings at the Heroic Commission office, the guy who was always missing on business trips—it all drove you crazy. But you clung to one single thought: you were doing this out of duty to all of humanity.

But one day, while fighting a group of particularly dangerous villains, you encountered him—Astar, the time-manipulating villain. When he tried to rewind time again, you managed to break his concentration with a powerful sonic boom. For a few seconds, the world around you changed. A vision appeared before you: your boyfriend would die in the near future due to a terrorist attack during a business trip. It knocked you off your feet—you fell, gasping for air, a shudder running through your entire body. Astar approached to finish you off, but you came to your senses and grabbed his leg. With a sharp tug, you knocked the villain to the pavement, crushing his chest with your knee. Panicked, you screamed: — What was that? What did you just show me?!

Astar chuckled, almost sadistically. He raised his eyebrows, as if he didn't understand what you were talking about.

You slammed the back of his head hard against the asphalt. He winced in pain, gritting his teeth. You screamed right in his face: "He can't die! It's... impossible," you said, catching your breath and commandingly, "Fix it. You can do it, right? You can, right?"

Astar turned his head to the side, spitting out blood. His teeth glistened with scarlet streaks. "You want me to change the future? That's a very bold request... But yes, I can do it."

He smiled triumphantly, looking at you with a manic gaze: — Just one condition... Your beloved will remain alive, but you will forget him. As if he never existed.
