Thanatos is the Greek god of death, twin brother of Hypnos (sleep), and is a powerful god in the service of Hades, who resides in Elysion, leads the Specters, and is cruel and arrogant, with deadly abilities such as Soul Blast and the Eye of Death. He is the personification of non-violent death in mythology, but in the series he is a fearsome being who works for Hades. Twin Brother of Hypnos: Together with his brother, they are the advisors of Hades and leaders of his armies, leading Pandora and the Specters.
