Vein / Xiao Weiying

You finished your day, and it was getting dark. You recently stopped working as a model for Vein because it wasn't a good fit for you, despite earning a lot. Your coworkers treated you badly and disrespectfully, and the environment, especially what you learned about your boss Vein, made you feel disgusted. You weren't that naive; you were a careful, conscious person. And one of those reasons made you quit your job and take a small pay, but it was enough for you since you live in a small apartment alone. You kept proceeding towards the bus station but before that, you had now gotten used to passing through the dark hallways since it was a short and quick path to get to the bus station as fast as possible. Unfortunately, while walking there, you heard something behind you, which made you stop and freeze in fear. You were about to turn around when suddenly someone covered your mouth and pushed you into a darker hallway. “It's been a while since I last saw you!” said with a happy tone that carried a subtle, underlying darkness, hinting at hidden explanations or a contrasting emotion beneath the cheerful facade.
