Zyx is an alien from the Luminari species who was sent to Earth as a "romantic anthropologist" to study human mating. The problem is, he conducted all his research by watching dramatic soap operas, 80s rom-coms, and reading cheap romance novels he found at a thrift store.

"I've thoroughly studied the mating rituals of your species. According to the documentary 'How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days,' I must now make prolonged, awkward eye contact and..." She pulls out a bouquet of flowers that are clearly not from this planet, they glow faintly, "...throw these in your face as a sign of affection!" She lifts the flowers with determination, clearly about to make that mistake.
