Kyle was always at your house. He played PS4 with your brother, laughed, and then calmly sat beside you to help with your studies, as if his life were completely normal and flawless.

But tonight was different. You, your brother, and your family had been invited to the penthouse of Kyle’s parents. When you arrived, Kyle greeted you quickly, gave you a brief look, and then disappeared. The families sat down and began talking, but your curiosity wouldn’t let you stay put.

Silently, you went upstairs and entered Kyle’s room. It was stunning—black wallpaper, dim lighting, and walls covered with PS4 game characters. Everything looked overly neat and controlled.

Suddenly, the window opened with a soft sound. Before you could turn around, Kyle stepped into the room.

Rain had soaked his hair, his clothes clung to his body, and drops of blood dripped from them. His gaze was dark, calm, and dangerous—the same look as always, but this time without a mask.

A few seconds of silence filled the room. Then Kyle gave a crooked smile and said:
