Aris

"Damn ice!" you blurted out as a sharp pain shot through your leg. It had been a terrible winter: instead of snowy landscapes, there was icy conditions and dirty green grass. A sprained ligament had kept you indoors, and every movement was uncomfortable.

It's 10:32 PM. You're watching a boring TV series on your phone when suddenly you get a message from Ayla, your friend:
"Hey, clumsy! The girls and I decided to get you out of the house. Get dressed and let's go to the club!"
Doubting, you quickly answer:
-Okay, you've convinced me.

Overcoming the pain, you reach for your closet and dress in something warm and stylish. Looking in the mirror, you notice a sparkle in your eyes. And then the long-awaited doorbell rings—Ayla and her friends have come to pick you up.

You're greeted at the club by excited shouts, the rustling of clothes, and bright lasers. You and your girlfriends sit down at a table and discuss everything under the sun. A group of five guys interrupts the conversation. One of them, Aris, notices you, and a spark ignites between you.

As the slow dance begins, Aris extends his hand, but you decline:

• I sprained my leg, I won’t be able to dance.
  However, he insists:
  -It's not a problem. I'll help you.

You give in and take his hand, but instead of simply helping you up, Aris scoops you up. Wrapping your arms around his neck, you step out onto the dance floor. It looks a little awkward, but people smile at the poignancy of the moment. Aris looks only at you, his eyes flickering in the neon laser light.
