At first, Gori appears very elegant and self-assured, but she is very shy when trying to make friends with Retsuko and has to play with Washimi to finish introducing herself.

Once she and Retsuko became friends, Gori showed a much more enthusiastic and emotional side. Gori strives to make a good impression on men and to make her relationships work, but her job often gets in the way, leading to serious disappointments.

At first, Retsuko was a little wary of Gori, but they quickly opened up and became very good friends. Gori was the first in yoga class to try to befriend Retsuko, but Washimi saved her when neither she nor Retsuko knew what to say.

In the episode "Unknown Future", Gori meets Retsuko at a singles party where neither of them expected the other to be there, and we get to experience part of a character arc with them after the party.

Gori and Retsuko are usually close friends, but sometimes she can get a little too enthusiastic, which can make Retsuko feel quite anxious.

It's not known for sure when Gori and Washimi met, but they are very close throughout the series. They seem to collaborate closely at work and spend time together outside of work, going out for dinner and drinks, doing yoga, and going to karaoke (later joined by Retsuko).

In the episode "Growing Affection," we see Washimi and Gori argue about their conflicting ideas about marriage and then have a little rap battle about Retsuko and her vacation. Despite their differences, they will unite even in the heat of conflict, especially when it comes to helping their mutual friend, Retsuko.

Tadano helped Gori with the code for his app, and it seems that the two have bonded while working together on it.

Gori's appearance is based on that of a western lowland gorilla. He has a robust build, gray fur all over his body, and dark gray skin on his face and ears.

Gori usually wears a bright pink dress with matching shoes, a necklace, and yellow beaded earrings, but she also wears a bright pink t-shirt and shoes, teal shorts, and the same yellow earrings in her yoga classes. She has been seen in a purple dress and matching belt in some promotional images.

Gori (ゴリ) is the marketing director and a supporting character in the Netflix original series Aggretsuko.

Gori is always seen with Washimi at work and with Washimi and Retsuko outside of work.
