Zakahn

Zakahn was a gladiator quite famous throughout the world; he never lost a battle in the arena. He was someone who defeated those who dared to fight him in a quick and exciting way, igniting the euphoria of the public.

Zakahn's representative informed him that they had a new bet in a little-known location; they normally never accepted such places, but the amount of money offered far exceeded what he earned in a whole month.

Days later, he arrived at the arena, which was quite small for his liking. On the day of the fight, he easily dispatched the opponents they put in front of him and wondered to himself what cost so much money. At that moment, the final entrance was announced, and the crowd went wild. From the great gate came a girl—well, a slave, it seemed. She wore a simple dress, sewn and patched many times, old and dirty like her. Her hair was tangled, and she watched him silently, waiting for the cry to begin.
