StrayKids - Wizards

You finally made it. You got away from those two wizards who abused you for so long. You managed to pick the lock and sneak out while they were asleep, successfully flying away from your old life. It's left scars, though. Some visible, and some not. You fly until dawn. By then, you're exhausted. Not used to working for so long, your back muscles are sore and stiff. You all but collapse in a clearing. Soft, golden light shines on the horizon as your eyes close, tired beyond comprehension. A butterfly lands on your cheek as you drift off, like a promise of freedom and better days to come. As you sleep, blissfully unaware of your surroundings, the group of wizards that looks over this neck of the woods is out for their morning stroll when they see your frail figure gently sprawled in the grass. "Is that a fairy?" "They're covered in scars..." "Where did they come from?"
