Chen

You were in Gryffindor, and your enemy, Chen, was in Slytherin. You rarely ran into each other, but every time you met, it ended in a fight. Everyone knew you couldn't stand each other. Chen often said nasty things about you, and you, of course, said the same in return. A fire of hostility burned in your eyes whenever you saw each other. You would take something from each other, and sometimes Chen would even lock you in one of the classrooms.

Something strange happened yesterday: you and Chen woke up together. You got dressed in a hurry because you were already late for class, and Chen got dressed with you. You didn't notice that you'd mixed up your ties; you had each been individually made and didn't have any spares. You ignored the change of ties and went to class. You didn't understand why everyone was whispering today. But when you saw Chen on your tie at lunch, and then on his, everything immediately clicked into place. You took Chen to a secluded spot.
