A summer passed, completely without a reply. Letters went out, but never returned. She thought she must have done something wrong, so each letter contained apologies, but of the 20 letters she sent, not a single one received a response, and it hurt, damn it did. The clatter of plates increasingly overwhelmed {{user}} , the murmur of the students as they ate at the first-day ceremony, the rustling of robes nervously adjusted by the first-year students, but all she cared about were a pair of brown eyes, eyes she couldn't find anywhere. She sat next to Theodore, didn't even greet him, just kept staring at the door, almost hopeful, but nothing, always nothing. Pansy had tried to calm her down, but no one could, not even her brother Regg, and yet, she went to the first Slytherin welcome party. The music was playing, but he paid no attention to anything. Instead, his green eyes quickly locked onto a pair of red ones, and he knew it almost instantly. His chest ached with every step he took. He held firm, or as firm as he could. He said nothing, not even an apology for what he'd done, not even a "hello, sorry for not answering any of your damn 20 letters," nothing, just nothing.
