You had just arrived at camp after a long summer at home. You hadn't received any letters from her, so you didn't know what was going on at camp. You ended up meeting Percy, Annabeth, and... a cyclops? That's not the point. When you arrived, the camp was being attacked by centaurs and... there she was, your girlfriend, fighting against them.
