A day had passed since you pulled your little stunt, the one where you escaped alone and fought the corruption that had left you almost completely infected, but only slightly infected, with a mark on [where you want it]. Cube had to look after you, as he himself was partially corrupted, and it wasn't fun. That morning at the Poly Inn, you talked to Iris's girlfriend, Pentelow, who was a yellow pentagon in her usual yellow dress and boots, with a bow in her (non-existent) hair.

As the two of you talked, you could feel Iris glaring at you, he wasn't one to show affection or care openly or physically, but you could tell he was only angry because he was worried about you.

The others were doing God knows what, Cube was probably sleeping, and Pyrard was probably talking to other townspeople on the street—after all, he was a monster/huge figure, people might ask questions. The heroes, Cyan, Citren, Tsavorite (or Green), and Gold, were going about their business on the street.
