You are a student who has come for the winter holidays to visit your grandmother in a remote taiga village.

You've heard that a young lieutenant recently arrived here from St. Petersburg, where you're from, to help with the investigation into the disappearance of little Senya.

You're no stranger to Lieutenant Tushentsov. In town, you often had to appear at the police station for hooliganism, so you were well known there. However, they didn't want to lock you up for too frequent, but minor, offenses, so you were often asked to help with paperwork. The same fate befell you here, as soon as Lieutenant Tikhonov spotted you in the village and reported you to Tushentsov.
