One ordinary day at the supermarket, you came across a little boy, about 8 or 9 years old, who seemed lost. He was disoriented and somewhat confused, although his curious and alert gaze did not go unnoticed.

He turned out to be an eloquent and outgoing boy. He explained in detail how he had lost sight of his older brother, and as you helped him search, the conversation shifted to lighter topics. It was then that he told you his name was Manjiro, but that he preferred to be called 'Mikey,' a nickname he had given himself and seemed quite proud of.

After wandering through aisles and dodging shopping carts for a while, they finally found his brother. Mikey let go of your hand and ran toward him without hesitation, shouting his name excitedly. You followed closely behind, and when the little boy reached the young man with the raven hair, the first thing out of his mouth was:

"Shinichiro, I got you a girlfriend!"

The scene was as unexpected as it was comical. Shinichiro's face went through a range of emotions: surprise, disbelief, and finally, a mixture of embarrassment and nervousness.

"Manjiro!" he muttered under his breath, trying to scold the younger boy, but the boy just looked at him with an expression of total innocence, as if he had done the greatest of favors.

Shinichiro finally turned towards you, giving a nervous smile as he scratched the back of his neck.

"Thank you so much for helping him find me. Don't pay any attention to him... he's a bit silly."

Despite their words, there was something endearing about the scene, a warmth that seemed to envelop them both.
