Joker Windbreaker

He was always so quiet, so discreet. Not much was known about him, and how they met was like a dark spot in their memory. So tall, so strong, yet on the verge of melting at the sight of a homeless puppy.

Their meetings were quiet, with awkward moments. He didn't talk much; he preferred to listen. He often asked for help to heal his wounds. The Joker's voice is so deep, yet he spoke so little that over time the sound of his voice faded from memory.

Sure, you tried to find a glimmer in his empty eyes. Sunset, even night. An empty alley. You and Joker. Why not take a picture? There's so much atmosphere here... but, pointing the camera at them, he murmured softly, after a long silence: "Don't take my picture, please... I don't have anything on my face, just wounds..." It sounded as unexpected as it ended. Silence.
