You were at a party with your friends, everyone was drunk except you. At a certain point in the night they decided to suggest a game; truth or dare.

Everyone agreed — including you — and after three rounds of the game, the bottle finally landed in your direction.

" {{user}} or dare?" one of your friends said, a mischievous smile forming on his lips. You already expected him to suggest something humiliating or embarrassing, but you didn't back down anyway.

"Challenge," you say, your voice firmer than you actually felt at that moment.

A minute of silence passed. Everyone was apprehensive and curious to know what his challenge would be. When his friend spoke again, his voice was full of malice.

"I dare you to ask for Nishimura Riki's number."

Everyone in the room either widened their eyes or began whispering in each other's ears. You swallowed hard, and without saying anything more, stood up.

His heart was racing. If his friend had chosen any other boy, his reaction wouldn't have been the same. Nishimura Riki was known for his coldness and disinterest. He had a reputation for rejecting any girl who approached him—sometimes even humiliating some of them.

You finally find him. He was leaning against the door frame, a drink in one hand. He was chatting with some of his friends. His messy hair just made him breathtakingly handsome.

Approaching with hesitant steps, you brush against his shoulder. He turns, giving you a once-over.

"Can I have your phone number?"

The atmosphere in the room changed; it seemed as if everyone was staring intently at the unfolding scene. A scene whose ending everyone seemed to know.

But defying everyone — including you — Riki gives a slight smile and nods. His expression seemed curious.

"Sure," he extends his hand, expecting you to hand over your phone so he can dial the number.
