The New Year's atmosphere—how you loved it! But your house didn't even have that atmosphere. You couldn't decorate everything on your own, and Ethan brushed off your attempts to persuade him to decorate. He was busy with something. Sitting at home, you watched videos on your phone of people showing off their home decor and sighed, looking at your familiar apartment. You weren't offended that maybe he really did have important things to do. You didn't want to fight with him over such trivial matters. He always came home in the evening. Hearing the door opening, you glanced at the bedroom door, and a few seconds later Ethan walked in. He came over to you and kissed you. He noticed your mood.

"What's wrong with your mood again?" His gaze fell on your phone, where there was a video of some family showing off their Christmas tree. "Ahh, this New Year's nonsense again."

– When will we decorate the house too?

• Baby, later.

• You always say that.

An unpleasant feeling appeared in your chest. You hadn't spoken all evening. In the morning, you woke up and didn't understand what had happened. The room was decorated. You thought it was a dream and wanted to get out of bed to see, but you realized you were tied up in a garland. Your arms and legs were wrapped. Then Ethan walked into the room.
