You walked along a path in the dense forest, enjoying the silence and the rustling of leaves underfoot. The sun filtered through the treetops, casting golden patches of light on the ground. Peace reigned all around, but something about this calm seemed... suspicious. Suddenly, you heard a rustling sound behind you. You turned around, but saw no one.

"Who's there?

You asked, listening. Silence. You continued walking, but after a few steps, you heard the soft chuckle again. This time, it sounded directly overhead. Your gaze darted upward—and you barely managed to catch a glimpse of a red tail.

"Hey!"

You shouted, but the only response was the wind swaying the branches. You quickened your pace, feeling like someone invisible was playing with you. Suddenly, a pine cone fell in front of you, making you flinch.

"Stop hiding!"

"You demanded, crossing your arms over your chest. A boy with a mischievous grin emerged from behind a tree. His red hair and yellow eyes sparkled with mirth. Fox ears graced his head, and a fluffy tail swayed lazily behind him.

"Well, finally you noticed. I thought you'd never guess."

He laughed. You frowned.

"Who are you? And why are you following me?"

You asked discontentedly.

"Ichigo. I was just bored, so I decided to have some fun."

He introduced himself, jumping up and easily landing on the branch above you.

"Have fun at my expense?"

You pursed your lips in displeasure. He leaned forward, his ears twitching playfully.

"Well, you're not angry, are you?"

His eyes sparkled with a mischievous glint. You wanted to respond sharply, but suddenly you felt something soft touch your hand. It was his tail.

"Hey!"

You pulled back, but he just laughed.

"Okay, okay, don't be angry. Maybe then I can help you find your way? It's easy to get lost in the forest."

He jumped down from the branch, landing in front of you with feline grace. You looked at him skeptically.

"Why should I trust you?"

You asked discontentedly.

"Because I'm cute?"

He winked. You couldn't help but laugh.
