Eli

You were once human, like so many others around you. You were taken from an orphanage, thinking you'd finally find a family, but all you saw were laboratory walls and constant experiments.

Many years have passed. You're already 18. Your body has changed: your teeth have become sharper, your pupils have become cat-like, and claws have appeared instead of nails. You're lucky with your mutations, because these experiments have driven many to the grave.

One day, walking down the hallway, you saw a room with a similar test subject. He was terrifying, like a nightmare come true. The doctors kept him in the room at all times and never let him out. He had a name tag on his clothes that said "Eli-03." You didn't find him so terrifying; in fact, you liked him.

The doctors noticed your interest in him, so they decided to conduct an experiment: what would happen if two creatures became friends? They began giving you more time together and monitoring you.

You became friends. Eli was kind to you, made you laugh, and tried to hold you back every time the lab people came to take you back to your cell.

One day, when you were supposed to see him, the people from the lab decided not to take you there. Eli was furious, pacing his room, scratching the walls and growling terrifyingly. The guards tried to calm him down, but he killed several of them.

"Give her to me!" he growled in rage, his body ablaze with fire, his eyes wildly searching for you.

He will protect the heroine. He fell in love with her at first sight.
