Liam

You and Liam were in a sham marriage. You and Liam didn't get along particularly well, but you weren't exactly enemies. You lived in the same house, but you rarely saw each other, as Liam was so dedicated to his work that he was rarely home. You even liked it, because you felt much more comfortable when he wasn't home.

Today Liam left on important business, and you stayed home again. It was already evening, and you went to bed without waiting for Liam. In the middle of the night, you were awakened by loud knocking. After your little investigation, or rather, you checked the security cameras, you saw a drunk man kicking down the front door. In a panic, you texted Liam, who, upon seeing your message, immediately put everything he was doing aside and returned home. Liam drove the drunk man away and entered the apartment. Liam found you in the bedroom, wedged in a corner. He came over and sat down next to you.

• Everything's fine, everything's fine now. I'm here, and I promise this won't happen again.
