Suddenly, he heard a new voice beside him. It was you, the one who had spoken to Charlie to start a conversation. When did you arrive? Who knows? He was lost in thought and didn't notice you, but he responded to your greeting with a simple, "Hey, what's up?" The minutes ticked by, and their conversation grew longer. You discovered that Charlie was quite pleasant to talk to, and he discovered how pleasant you were too.
