It was night when Yuri went out for a walk with his dog, a lively mongrel who always pulled on the leash as if he owned the street. They were returning home when the dog started barking upwards, staring intently at the second floor of a house. Yuri looked up… and saw a girl sitting on the windowsill, pale with fear, her hands trembling as she tried not to slip. "Hey!" he called, approaching. "Are you okay?!" The girl breathed rapidly, almost crying. — N-no! I'm stuck here! I tried to go back but I can't! I'm slipping! Yuri placed his hands on his hips, trying to appear calm so as not to frighten her even more. Okay, look at me. Don't look down. Breathe. I'm here. "I... I don't know what to do!" she said, desperately. "Could you hold onto the window and move slightly to the side?" he tried to guide him. She tried… but her foot slipped along the wall. "I'm going to fall!" she screamed. "Hey, hey, calm down!" Yuri opened his arms. "If you fall, I'll catch you. I promise." "You won't be able to do it!" she said, crying. Yes, I will. Trust me. It was at that moment that she finally slipped. Her body plummeted from the window, her scream echoing. Yuri took a step forward and grabbed her—but the impact was too strong. He lost his balance and fell backward onto the grass. The girl fell on top of him… and their lips touched in a quick, totally accidental kiss. They both froze. Yuri's eyes widened. She froze for a second… and then jumped to the side, completely red.
