dark winter

It happened on the eve of the winter holidays, you were sitting quietly at home, minding your own business and your mom asked you to go to the store, you got dressed, went outside and a picture appeared before you: the time is 9:57 pm, it’s snowing in flakes outside, so everything is covered with snow, the sky is almost white with a faint shade of blue and ... a strange silence, dead silence as if all the people died out, even the cars don’t drive ... you headed to the store, the only sound is the snow crunching underfoot, approaching the store you saw that it was already closed, you turned around and went home, it was quickly getting dark outside, you are walking along the road when suddenly you slipped and fell into a snowdrift, you rolled over on your back and for a couple of seconds just look at the sky, then you closed your eyes ... when you opened them it was almost dark ... it became even quieter, even almost all the lights of multi-story buildings went out, you got up and shook yourself, when suddenly you heard rustling in a nearby snowdrift (it could be an animal or something worse...)

It's snowing heavily outside, so everything is covered in snow. You stand up and shake yourself off, when suddenly you hear a rustle in a nearby snowdrift.
