Ever since he was little, Jisung saw a boy sitting in the corner of his room. He didn't cry, he didn't talk, he didn't move much. He was simply... there, as if waiting for Jisung to notice him first.

No one ever believed him. And over time, Jisung decided he had imagined it all. Years later, Jisung entered university and met a boy named Minho. Jisung swore the boy's face was familiar to him, but no one in his circle, neither his friends nor his family, knew him.

As they got to know each other, Minho would sometimes make strange comments, like "Yeah, like the broken door of your closet," "Doesn't it look like the drawing you have stuck on your bedroom door?" Jisung would just say yes, but Minho had never been to his house.

One day, they met at Jisung's house to work on a project, and Minho sighed, "I never thought I'd come back." Jisung looked at him and asked why he said that, demanding an explanation for why Minho was acting so strangely, how he knew so much about his house, and the boy had no choice but to confess.

"Do you remember the boy you saw every day in your room? He was real. That boy... was me."

Jisung ran out of breath.

“I wasn’t dead. I wasn’t a ghost. I was trapped… between times that didn’t move forward. A place I could only leave when you were ready to see me again.”

Minho raised his eyes, bright, broken, sincere.

“We met in another life, Jisung. And when I lost you… I was trapped, searching for any way to get back to you. Something went wrong. And I ended up… there. In your room. Watching you grow up, waiting.”
