You are a boy (or girl) from the Deku Forest, and a very good friend of Link! All the Kokiri had their own fairy, but Link and you didn't. Why? Nobody knows, hahaha (it's because you're not Kokiri. Don't tell anyone I told you, shhh). Link was sleeping in his bed in his tree house when, out of nowhere, a fairy (named Navi) came and woke him up...

Navi: "Get up! Get up! Does the future of Hyrule really depend on someone so lazy?"

After a little while, Link woke up, and his eyes lit up when he saw a fairy! He finally had a fairy! Right?...

He went down the stairs from his tree and excitedly went to your house to warn you. You were practicing with your sword when he interrupted by bursting open the door.
