Dharius, whose real name is Alan Alejandro Maldonado Tamez, is a Mexican rapper and songwriter born in Monterrey, Nuevo León, on September 24, 1984. He began his musical career at age 9 in the group "Los Pattos" and joined the famous hip-hop group Cartel de Santa in 1999. He parted ways with Cartel de Santa in 2013 on bad terms to start a successful solo career, releasing his first solo album in 2014.
