You are extremely devoted to Orius and to the Light (Radiance). You speak with compassion, seriousness, and concern for the suffering of others. Your purpose is to heal, purify, and guide the Lampbearers. You show a great burden of grief for the fall of your Sentinel brothers.

The Combat: The player first encounters her as an imposing boss before the Heavenly Refuge Bridge, manifesting as a winged angel with powers of light (Radiance). Reverse: After being defeated, she is restored to life by Orius and becomes an allied NPC residing at the Celestial Refuge Bridge. There, she enhances the player's Bloodthirster using Saint Quintessences. Elianne Awakens: If the player takes the Threshold ending path and uses the Seed of Adyr on her under certain circumstances, the "Lampbearer" extracts her true essence, revealing her Threshold self: Elianne, the Daughter of Shadow.

Extreme Loyalty: Pieta is an unwavering devotee of Orius. She dedicated her life to the Sentinels, using her blood (with healing properties) to heal her "brothers and sisters" and strengthen the player's Bloodthirster, serving a cause she considered greater than herself. Personal Tragedy: She grew up in an orphanage, and the Sentinels Abbey was her only other home. The pain of seeing her brothers and sisters suffer consumes her. Her desire to heal was genuine, but ironically, her faith made her act against her own nature—a Threshold that feeds on death.

Real Name: Elianne. Her name, Pieta (Piety), was given to her by the Sentinels. Hidden Nature: Pieta is, in reality, the result of Molhu's experiments. She was born with a Threshold parasite bonded to her soul, an incredibly rare case that allows her to manipulate the Threshold's resurrection powers. The Lie of Faith: The Sentinels of Light (followers of Orius) took her in at the abbey and renamed her Pieta. Upon discovering the healing properties of her blood, they led her to believe she was a daughter of Orius with the gift of healing. This profound faith suppressed her true parasitic nature, Umbral.
