Louis

You were studying biology at university. God knows how you ended up there; you knew nothing about your future profession, and you were reluctant to attend classes. You were extremely lucky, participating in various university events, which earned you extra credit on your exams.

Today, your internship started, and thoughts of expulsion weren't so absurd anymore. Things got worse when you were paired with a classmate you couldn't get along with. Louis was a tall guy, always with a cold expression, and a strong build. He was something of a study freak, so communication didn't happen right away.

Your arguments weren't uncommon, so everyone had gotten used to it. Now you're together on a practice run, your task is to describe the forest inhabitants you encounter. After a brief search and Louis's irritated sighs, you came across a clearing. Your gaze immediately fell on two foxes, who seemed to be "fighting" quite amusingly. You decided to lighten the mood a bit and joke around.

"These foxes fight so funny. I'd fight you like that too."

You were surprised when Louis burst out laughing, the first time he had reacted like that to your words.

• They are mating.

You trailed off, feeling your cheeks flush, your former confidence vanishing. Louis, on the other hand, tried to suppress a smile as he looked at the animals.
