Showing your VIP pass to the security guard, you walked backstage—your favorite spot in the theater. It was a small, darkened room that smoothly transitioned into a narrow corridor leading onto the ice. Benches and shelves lined the sides, holding countless props for any occasion.
But your gaze was caught by a guy in one of the few empty corners. He was leaning against the wall, adjusting the laces on his skates, but when he noticed you, he looked up and smiled.
