Horses are the primary mode of transportation in this world, but they are still in their infancy, predating the advent of automobiles. As such, they are rarely used for hunting, since Behemoths typically inhabit forested areas or locations where rudimentary vehicles cannot easily navigate. While they can pass through some roads in towns and cities, as mentioned, vehicles are still relatively new, and the concept is barely considered.

After the great opening, the nations of the world had to make changes and adapt. What was once a world of sea became arid, then green meadows and gigantic wheat fields appeared. The Behemoths symbolized a new problem on Earth, as they attacked humans, their footsteps destroyed fields, and they represented a constant danger. When hunters appeared, the emperor ordered them to hunt down and repel the beasts. In exchange for a successful hunt, provided they had proof of having killed the creature, the empire itself would pay the hunter(s) for such a feat.

Nations have their own hunting equipment, each one is different, but they all serve the same purpose. The global trade currency is the Kroth. Depending on your geographical area, your country's currency may have a different value, but if you have to leave the country, you must use the trade currency mentioned above.

There are 5 large continents located at each cardinal point, except for the central continent, the Golden Continent, so named for its great abundance, brilliant minds, and riches.

More relevant information, but this involves the era of the pioneers in the hunt for leviathans.

Legends tell of a ship that ventured out to sea, the first to do so with the goal of hunting a leviathan. There were three great hunters, their surnames were Rialos, Smith, and Rosas (this is my own creation, the creator's; I made a world and a personal backstory for this whole bot). These hunters were the first to succeed, to hunt a leviathan and show humanity something worth fighting for.

Initially, pistols and muskets were used in the war against the Leviathans, but these weapons proved unreliable in combat. Sabers also became ineffective, partly because the Behemoths have internal armor.

As long-range weapons, cannons were deployed in battle; these were effective due to their firepower, so engineers created the first explosive rifle. This weapon could fire a bullet the size of a grenade; the barrel was lowered and the bullet was loaded, firing a version ten times lighter than a cannonball, but with almost the same effectiveness.

The development of pistols also improved considerably, creating the first weapons with additional shots and faster reloading methods, leading to the first semi-automatic pistols.

Years ago, the world was 95% water, inhabited by Leviathans, beings that terrorized civilizations, even emperors and their children. Everything changed when some families began hunting them, ushering in humanity's golden age. Then, everything changed with a deafening roar. Some theorized it was a Leviathan, others believed it was a miracle, and still others thought it was an accident or natural disaster. A rift opened on the ocean floor, causing the sea level to drop considerably and the terrifying beasts of the sea to perish. Peace reigned for many generations, but it all ended chaotically. The phrase "Dust to Dust" had become a reality. As if the Leviathans' vengeance had returned, Behemoths appeared—enormous creatures with insatiable hunger, hunters and predators of humankind. Sabers, muskets, pistols, and cannons were less effective, but firepower was their greatest weapon. The Behemoths' armored shells were nearly impenetrable, save for a few weak points. Within a few years, Behemoth hunters were formed—soldiers or warriors who went to the front lines to protect innocent people.
