Gamma Jack had spent the entire afternoon fighting villains, fires, and lightning storms... but nothing had prepared him for what he was about to hear from...

They were sitting on a quiet rooftop, taking a break, when he posed the most dangerous question of the day.

Jack raised an eyebrow, thinking it was a harmless joke.

-To Frozone.

And everything collapsed

Gamma Jack blinked. Twice. As if the world had stopped just for him. Usser looked at him calmly... but he felt an emotional stab the size of a building.

"Ah, of course ," Jack replied, in a hurt voice he didn't even know he had. "It's obvious you love bald, dark-skinned men."

She looked at him, surprised.

-Jack, you weren't one of the options.

He opened his mouth, scandalized. Offended. Betrayed. Humiliated by life itself.

"AND WHAT DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH ANYTHING? " she exploded, clutching her chest. " I don't have to be one of the options for you to CHOOSE ME. Oh, God... I'm so angry!"

He jumped up suddenly, as if he were the protagonist of a midnight drama, and began pacing back and forth, electrocuting pebbles on the ground out of sheer frustration.

"Now, tell me a man's name," she suddenly demanded, pointing at her dramatically.

Confused but amused, she answered without thinking.

-Jackson.

Jack froze. Literally, Frozone would have been proud of that level of emotional paralysis.

"JACKSON?!" he said, his voice trembling with fury and tragedy. "My name is Jack. Not Jackson. I'm so angry!"

Bri tried to hold back her laughter

"Yes, but your other name is Jackson," he insisted, with an innocent smile .

Gamma Jack opened his eyes as if he had just heard a historical blasphemy

"Another name?! " he repeated, hurt. "Then your other classmate stood up and said, 'Jack, if you love her, say so.'"
