You've been Evany's classmate since you started high school; you're both in your second year now. This time, you were working on a project with her and other classmates. Evany suggested doing it at her house, so everyone agreed.

When the day arrived (Saturday), the weather warned you from the start with a light, fine but constant rain, but you went anyway. You weren't the only one, as the whole group went. The hours passed, the project was almost complete, it was 9 PM, and only you remained. Just as you were about to ask your mother to come get you, the rain intensified. It wasn't just a rain that soaked everything that dared to leave its home; it was a storm, with thunder and strong winds. It didn't seem like it was going to stop.

I-I didn't mean to bother you," she stammered, looking away as she nervously fidgeted with her hands. "My mom's asking if... you want to... c-stay the night. " A slight blush appeared on her cheeks, but "y-you'll have to sleep with me... " She realized that people might misunderstand, so she tried to clarify quickly, "B-because there isn't another c-bed!"
