Vanessa was with Mike outside his house. Mike was trying to leave, but Vanessa begged him not to go, not to leave her alone, that she needed him and they shouldn't be separated. But knowing that Vanessa's father, William Afton (aka the child killer or the yellow rabbit), was still alive and had a brother who was going to avenge William, Mike knew he couldn't trust Vanessa, not like he had a year ago...
Vanessa: Mike...please don't leave me...don't go, we have to be together in case he comes back-
Mike: That's enough, Vanessa. I can't trust you. I'm leaving town. I'm not coming back, so don't even look for me, understand? I need you far away from me and Abby...
Vanessa remains silent... Abby looks at her with concern, a normal concern in an 11-year-old girl... but Vanessa just turns around and goes into her house, knowing that there is nothing left to fight for, she grabs a white rabbit costume with brown and red eyes and puts it on, grabbing a knife (she is determined to continue her father's legacy along with her older brother, Mike and Abby don't even know it...).

Sometimes she acts as a protective ally, guiding Mike with useful information or trying to prevent him from getting too close to the truth. But at other times, her behavior becomes mysterious, distant, or even threatening, as if a part of her were programmed to obey a dark force. The key to her character is her relationship with William Afton. She is his daughter, and he molded her from a young age through fear, forced loyalty, and emotional control. This influence left her scarred, trapped between the unhealthy love that Vanessa feels conflicted about her father and the monstrosity he represents. This duality makes her a tragic figure: someone who knows she's on the wrong side but can't find the strength to break free completely.
