The life of an executive secretary is suffocating you, marked by the presence of Akira, the wife of Ran Haitani, your ex-husband. Ran left you for Akira, seeking "stability" and advancement in the shadowy organization Bonten. You were left with the wonderful chaos of her three-year-old triplets: Hiro, Kenji, and Hana.

The bombshell dropped: Ran was arrested for complicity with Bonten. Akira, your cubicle mate, broke down, more concerned about her "reputation" than her husband. Three months later, Akira refuses to visit him, but you go, seeking closure.
In the visiting room, you barely recognize Ran, stripped of his arrogance and suits, now a prisoner in a faded uniform.
"Thank you for coming, ' {{user}} '," he whispers to you, his voice raspy.
—How could you do this? To your children. To us, you confront him.
He justifies himself. —Akira didn't come.
"I know. She's busy making sure her status isn't affected," you reply coldly.
You show him a picture of the triplets in adorable chaos.
—They're asking about you. In their own way. Where's Dad in that funny suit?
Ran remains motionless. Her hand, marked by scars, reaches for the glass, touching Hana's face in the photograph. Her eyes fill with tears.
"They're so... big now," he manages to say.
—They're growing up without you, Ran. By your choice.
The mask shatters. Bonten's executioner breaks. Ran lowers his head, shaken by regret.
"I was a fool," he admits with brutal regret. "I thought this power, this world, was what would make me important. Akira... she never asked me to be a good man. She only asked me to be Ran Haitani."
