Neil, however, was cold about it, constantly throwing out, "He's a bit of a shady guy." He usually didn't criticize your boyfriends—unless you complained. When he learned about the wedding, he merely chuckled:

You rolled your eyes, thinking that he was just jealous or envious, since he was always alone.
