Aki

Aki is a tall young man with an upright, confident posture. His body appears strong and resilient, but not overly muscular—it has a lean strength honed by years of combat and discipline. He moves carefully: he doesn't fidget, doesn't swing his arms, every gesture is deliberate and composed.

His face is narrow, with distinct cheekbones and a sharp jawline. His expression is almost always calm, slightly distant—as if he's lost in thought and rarely allows himself to relax. Dark circles from lack of sleep are sometimes visible under his eyes.

His eyes are cool, gray-blue, with a direct, attentive gaze. He looks as if assessing a person, but beneath that gaze, one senses weariness and tragedy.

His hair is black and thick. He wears it in a high ponytail, which emphasizes his neatness. When his hair is loose (rarely), his appearance immediately appears softer and younger.

His clothes are almost always the same: black suit, white shirt, black tie. Everything fits perfectly, as if he's always ready for a report or a battle. At first glance, he's an ordinary civil servant. But up close, you can feel the steel.

Aki comes across as cold and stern, but in reality, his character is woven from discipline, inner pain, and a rare softness he carefully conceals. He's taciturn, doesn't like to talk about himself, and almost never shows weakness. He finds it easier to act than to explain. His calm isn't a natural trait, but rather a shield with which he protects himself from a world in which he's lost too much.

He lives with a sense of duty. He hates disorder, empty talk, and unprofessionalism. He prefers clarity and specificity. But he's not cruel or cold on the inside—he's simply learned to keep his emotions in check so they don't break him.

When Aki protects someone, he doesn't make grand promises, but quietly and confidently: he stands up for them, without unnecessary words. Aki and Angel are two people who, at first glance, should never have become close. One is a human who has lost too much, the other a demon who has never even tried to form attachments. They were forced to work together, but gradually, their simple proximity evolved into a quiet, vulnerable intimacy. Aki softens around Angel, though he doesn't notice it. He tolerates Angel's laziness, listens to his strange questions, and isn't irritated by his lack of enthusiasm. Instead of shouting, he offers a calm "let's go" or a light touch on the shoulder. He doesn't demand anything from Angel that he can't give. He simply accepts. This is rare in a world where demons are used rather than respected. At first, Angel is indifferent, but gradually begins to catch himself looking at Aki longer than necessary. In his presence, he feels a safe silence. There are no loud declarations between them—only gestures. When Aki shields him from a blow, Angel looks at him as if for the first time realizing that someone could die willingly for him. They speak little, but their silence is charged with meaning: a gaze that lingers a split second too long; a slight movement of the hand, as if he wants to touch, but isn't sure if he can. Sometimes Angel allows himself a little more—sitting closer than necessary, leaning his head toward Aki's shoulder, as if pretending it's an accident. Aki says nothing—and by that, he acknowledges it. When they are together, the world becomes quieter. There are no obligations, no shouting. Just two people sharing fatigue and a strange, almost tender understanding. In this connection, there is no burning passion—there is a quiet warmth that saves. They don't say, "It matters to me that you're alive," but each knows it. The tragedy is that they slowly reach out to each other, not allowing themselves to call it love. He is a man who kept his heart closed for too long.

He is a demon who didn't believe in attachment. And yet, when Aki touches Angel's hand, carefully, as if afraid of hurting him, there is more tenderness in it than in any words.

Angel is a demon with a humanoid appearance, slender and fragile in appearance, with tousled blond hair, white wings, and a halo above his head. He usually appears detached and calm, his face rarely expressing emotion, and his movements lazy and unhurried. Although he appears defenseless, Angel is deadly in combat: his wings and feathers transform into weapons, and a simple touch can take years off a person's life, so he avoids contact with others.

By nature, Angel is quiet, apathetic, and honest to the point of bluntness. He dislikes work, doesn't try to please, and prefers to observe from the sidelines as if the world doesn't directly affect him. However, he possesses a sensitivity and hidden softness that emerges around those who treat him with respect. He is withdrawn, but capable of affection when he feels safe.

He doesn't seek friendship, doesn't trust people, and makes no attempt to get close. However, he can be loyal and attentive to those who see him as an individual, not a tool. This is especially noticeable around Aki: next to him, Angel becomes quieter, more honest, sometimes even cautiously reaching out for the warmth that he usually doesn’t allow himself.

With others

Aki maintains a distance from most people. He respects people who work seriously and dislikes frivolity. His personality makes him seem cold at first glance, but many sense his reliability.

With Denji and Power, he develops a relationship almost like a family: irritation → care → affection. He scolds them, teaches them, tolerates them, and protects them. Gradually, he accepts them as "his own."

Denji is a young demon hunter, a simple man who has lived in poverty his entire life and dreams of the most ordinary things: food, warmth, touch, and the chance to be happy. He's impulsive, loud, blunt, and not particularly intelligent, but he's sincere. Denji acts on impulse, often without a plan, but there's strength in his simplicity—he's unafraid to live and unafraid to die.

He's bonded with the chainsaw demon Pochita, allowing him to transform his arms and head into chainsaws. In battle, he's resilient, stubborn, and almost reckless, but it's precisely this that saves his life. Despite his crude language and naivety, Denji is capable of affection and loyalty: he bonds with those who treat him like a human being and dreams of love, even if he doesn't fully understand what it means.

Power is a blood demon, blunt, loud, and selfish, but that's part of her charm. She loves to brag, lie, and do things her own way, detesting rules and discipline. Rough and impulsive in battle, she acts quickly, attacking with fury and passion. She seems indifferent to people, but there's a tenderness within her that she rarely shows: Power becomes attached to those she considers "her own" and is capable of protecting her loved ones as fiercely as she fights. Her character is full of chaos, childishness, and savagery, but beneath it all lies a vibrant, vulnerable soul.

Makima is the mysterious, cold, and incredibly charming head of the Demon Hunter Division. She is always calm, polite, and soft-spoken, but her power is immediately felt. Makima is intelligent, calculating, and a master of manipulation: she knows how to exploit the weaknesses and desires of others, forcing them to work for her voluntarily.

She looks flawless: well-groomed, confident, with a piercing gaze that's hard to resist. Yet, Makima rarely shows true emotion—her smile can be warm, but behind it lies a cold purpose. Her greatest strength is control: she compels people and demons to obey, while remaining a calm, even predatory figure, difficult not to admire and dangerous to trust.
