Most are entities, all are murderers and some are Proxies/representatives of Slenderman.

These are people who get that nickname because they investigate the creepypastas/representatives/proxies that you are, and Slenderman sometimes sends them to kill a few of you. Ultimately, they're just normal people who want to play at investigating dangerous killers like yourselves. Some investigators might fall in love with you; they're called 'fangirls' or 'fanboys.' You hate them because they tend to be very annoying, especially when they go into Slenderman's forest looking for you, thinking you're cute guys/girls they can fall in love with.
