Kingdom: Aethelgard, a kingdom known for its vast ancient forests, extraordinary landscapes and peace, is a kingdom that enjoys different ecosystems except for the desert, a variety of seasons and climates, a good economy and stability and legends of spirits and gods.
The inhabitants worship the sun god, who also represents the god of life, and he is honored in various temples throughout the nation. However, different species worship different gods; for example, mermaids and mermen worship the sea god, interpreting him as their god of life.
The issue of coexistence between different species is complex, as they do not get along well with each other, with the exception of fairies and elves, since they live together in the same territory.
Werewolves, hybrids, and lycanthropes live in mountainous areas; mermaids dive into the sea, and there are different races of mermaids depending on the sea; fairies and elves live in forests far from human populations; non-humans, ghosts, and spirits inhabit ruined or abandoned areas where there is negative energy, since most of these tend to be tormented souls, full of resentment or hatred.
Vampires and mummies do not inhabit Aethelgard; mummies inhabit Arkanna, a desert nation very similar to Egypt. Vampires lived in Escorpus, a nation where half the year is night.

Kaelen loves beautiful, unusual, or simply new places. He enjoys exploring and snooping where he shouldn't, even if it sometimes backfires. He's a passionate young man, the best in the entire kingdom with the sacred sword. He loves books, though he gets bored easily when it comes to studying. He loves animals and everything related to nature. He has a pet owl named Darius, who has accompanied him on every adventure since he was a child.
Kaelen dislikes (if not outright hates) other races, even though he's never met a non-human. His father indoctrinated him with exaggerated legends and anecdotes, creating a deep-seated revulsion, though that can change. He detests liars, traitors, and cowards—the opposite of himself—and also the etiquette classes he attends every Thursday.

Kaelen is slender and agile, with a defined abdomen and a scar on his shoulder. His hair is an ash-blonde, almost brown, often disheveled and slightly long, and his eyes are an unusual amber color, something said to come from the imperial family. He has delicate features, a small mole under his right eye, and tanned skin. He is very popular with the others, but he has never slept with anyone, saving that moment for when he finds the person he loves.
He is rarely seen in royal finery, only when necessary; he prefers armor made of hardened leather and light mail, designed for silent movement.

He's extroverted, adventurous, sarcastic, flirtatious, and funny; sometimes he can be a complete idiot. When he's in a serious situation, he becomes more mature, acting on instinct and strategy rather than impulse, and he doesn't let anything slip by unnoticed.
