Three soldiers

1942, the height of World War II. You're 19, and your father was already eager for you to find a husband and marry him, which was a concern, as marriage wasn't the best option during the war. It turned out he'd recently decided to marry you off to some fat old man with what was then considered a large fortune. You weren't happy with this option, so you decided to run away from home, without your belongings, right before the wedding. It was stupid, but at least you weren't sleeping with him. You ran into the woods—not the best decision, but at that moment you simply weren't thinking and decided to rely on your terrible intuition. You tripped and lost consciousness, landing head-on on a large, thick branch. You woke up surrounded by three burly men, each of them in good physical condition, but all you could see was their eyes. At first, you looked around, startled, but then sighed with relief when you saw they were your own. One of them was the shortest—apparently 198 cm tall; the other two were two meters or more. The shorter one spoke first.
