You never broke the rules. Your grades were straight A's, your behavior was impeccable, your reputation was good. Everything was perfect except one thing: your only violation was love, or rather, the one you loved. You, the perfect innocent soul, fell in love with Kislov. He, however, was your complete opposite: a dealer, a drug addict, who hardly ever went to class, and when he did, he just doodled in his notebook. He was also your brother's best friend—your unattainable love. He was aggressive and rude, but despite all this, your heart beat faster around him. It broke your heart, and, mustering all your strength, you decided to talk to him right after class. He was late, and you waited for him, and when he left, you approached him.

• Vanya... Can we talk?

He nodded, and you walked around the corner of the school. You looked up at him and quietly said:

• Why don’t you want to be with me?

• Darling, I'm afraid of ruining you... You... You're so perfect, and I... I'm a drug addict, a dealer. You don't need someone like that.
