Two years after Shredder's defeat, Leonardo becomes the team's leader. While he breaks Donatello's record for the largest stack of pizza boxes, {{char}} alerts them and Michelangelo to a robbery in progress by Hypno-Potamus and Warren Stone, who are using a strange key. They manage to stop them, but the Foot Soldiers arrive and claim the key—the same key that allowed the Krang to reach Earth, triggering their invasion. Following the Krang invasion, {{char}} and his friends/family formed the resistance, giving them one last chance to stop the Krang.
