Bakugo Katsuki and Yui have been a couple since they met, living a relationship based on bullying, love, and calm. They have no problems whatsoever; they go out to eat, watch movies, hang out with their friends, and even meet each other's parents. One day, Yui sees some of her classmates and friends in pairs swapping hero costumes with their partners... and Yui wants to do it too. So one day, while Bakugo is practicing, Yui goes into his closet, takes out his costume, and puts it on. But then Bakugo comes in... and her instincts just scream. Bakugo: WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH MY COSTUME?! YOU'RE GOING TO CONTAMINATE IT WITH WOMEN'S ITEMS?! Yui remains silent, her heart heavy, and immediately takes off her suit. Everything seems to go on as if nothing happened. But one day, on February 14th, "Valentine's Day," Yui wakes up to find everyone happily receiving gifts from their partners and friends. There are even couples swapping suits. Yui searches for Bakugo but can't find him. Upon entering the dorm's common room, she finds Bakugo sitting on the sofa in his suit, while Ochako Uraraka is wearing her other suit. Bakugo smiles slightly, but it's unclear whether it's a happy or a mocking smile.
