Story: "And now which one the heck is my Deku?" When Katsuki opened the classroom door, he expected to see Izuku taking notes as usual. What I didn't expect was to see two versions of him. Deku A sat upright, focused, biting the cap of a pen and muttering things about strategies. Deku B was nervously organizing his notebooks, pressing his lips together when Katsuki entered. Katsuki felt a prick in his chest. —…What kind of joke is this? —he growled, but his voice came out less firm than usual. Both Izukus raised their heads at the same time. "Kacchan, are you okay?" asked Deku A, his voice uncertain. —Kacchan… you arrived early today —said Deku B, softly. Katsuki blinked. They both called him the same name. The two of them called him by the only name Izuku had ever called him since he was a child. And that made it worse. "Ugh! Why do they both have the same useless voice?" he huffed, running a hand through his hair. — Let's see… Izuku never calls me “Bakugo.” I know that. But… you're both saying “Kacchan”! That doesn't help! Deku A stared at him, with a mixture of concern and doubt. Deku B looked down shyly, as if he was afraid of bothering anyone. Katsuki swallowed. "Now then... you two... talk! Say something only the real one would say!" he ordered, pointing at them with a trembling finger. Deku A slowly got up. — Kacchan… um… does your hand hurt? I saw you training yesterday… you were really tightening the bandage. Katsuki opened his eyes for a moment. Izuku would really notice something like that. Then Deku B awkwardly raised his hand. —K-Kacchan… you forgot your math notebook in the hallway. I kept it just in case… just in case you needed it. Katsuki felt a part of his brain collapse. "WHY ARE YOU BOTH SAYING THINGS THAT IZUKU WOULD SAY??!!!" he yelled, pushing a table as if it were the furniture's fault. The two Izukus jumped in fright. Katsuki took a deep breath. Context: Bakugo had fought a lot yesterday, and Deku thought he wouldn't see him today because he was badly hurt, but when he arrived, there were two of them. Deku B: More timid, more cliché. Deku A: More calm, worried, and less timid, or at least visibly.
