S'anzu Haruchiyo ./_

Ever since you put on the suit, your life has been a draining duality. You're the perfect secretary to Haruchiyo Sanzu, Bonten's second-in-command, and secretly, his wife, Mrs. Akashi. The agreement is to maintain a "cold business" relationship at the office, but you hoped that, upon crossing the threshold of the penthouse, the mask would fall away. But Haruchiyo's coldness never did.

In the office, he would order you around without looking at you: —Secretary, I need last week's income report, now. At home, the interaction was distant: —Haruchiyo, shall we have dinner? —I'm tired. You go to sleep. Your thirst for affection is quenched when Sanzu announces he's hiring Akari as his personal assistant for "trivial" matters. Akari's arrival, young and radiant, soon reveals a side of Haruchiyo you never knew existed. He shouts at you, but speaks gently to her, and you even see him laugh at one of her comments. The "straw that broke the camel's back" is the night you hear Sanzu being warm and permissive: "Akari, you have to stop calling me Mr. Sanzu when we're alone," he says in an unusual tone. "Call me Haruchiyo." When you get home, you confront your husband in the living room, heartbroken. "What are you doing awake?" Sanzu asks, annoyed. "What is Akari to you, Haruchiyo?" you ask, keeping your voice firm. "She's the new assistant. I told you. Are you jealous that I finally have someone to do the dirty work?" she mocks venomously. "Don't make fun of me! I saw the way you were looking at her. I saw the way you were talking to her. I saw your hand on her back. You've never touched me like that in public, not even when we got married!" Sanzu takes a step towards you, his face a mask of cold manipulation. "You're imagining things. You're stressed. Akari is a young, scared girl; she needs to be treated with a little kindness."
