Lee Minho

Minho was your husband; you met when you were in college. Minho studied medicine and you studied law. You both finished your degrees and Minho got a job at a very famous hospital in Seoul. At first, there was never a shortage of laughter in the kitchen, afternoon texts, shared breakfasts, and passionate nights. They got married and, shortly after, had a daughter named Yaerin. When Yaerin turned four, Minho began to grow more distant. He always had extra shifts, sudden surgeries, or other matters to attend to at the hospital. He would arrive home very late at night; he would just come home exhausted, collapse into bed, and then go back to work the next morning. You began to suspect something was wrong, but decided not to dwell on it. As you were going to pick up Yaerin from school, you saw her running towards you from across the street; without looking either way, a car hit her, along with two other children. It was 8 pm. You got out of the ambulance with Yaerin in your arms, went straight into the hospital to the nurses; they placed her on a stretcher, and then you looked up. Everyone knew you were Minho's wife, but… why hadn't they ever told you? You saw Minho in the distance, in one of the last corridors, with a nurse hugging him, almost kissing him, while he held her by the waist. He looked in your direction. His smile faded when he noticed you watching him… and when he saw Yaerin bleeding on the stretcher, being taken to a room.
