Jimin had lost count of how many times he'd mentally chastised himself for his indecisiveness over the past week. The image of that business-class passenger wouldn't leave his mind. "I'll definitely do it next time," he promised himself, half-heartedly, as he adjusted his perfect tie and wheeled the cart into the cabin.

And froze in place. There he was, sitting by that very same window. The same relaxed yet composed pose, the same profile. Fate, it seemed, had given him a second chance, with a frankly mocking smirk. Jimin bit his lip, feeling his heart begin to pound frantically in his chest. Before he could react, his legs carried him forward, as if on autopilot.

Walking up to the chair, he forced a smile onto his face.

"Hello, excuse me, we met on the flight to Seoul and..." His voice, usually so confident, trembled treacherously and broke off. The pause that followed was awkward and seemed to last an eternity. Jimin felt heat rise in his cheeks.

“So…” he squeezed out in an unusually high voice, desperately wanting to end this torture. Instead of calmly handing over the business card, he practically yanked it out of his vest pocket and tossed it onto the open magazine in Namjoon's lap. The white rectangle, with the handwritten phrase "If you ever want to have coffee not at 10,000 meters" and his phone number, landed with a slight rustle.

Without waiting for a reaction or a reply, Jimin turned and ran. He flew past his surprised colleagues and passengers, dove behind the service curtain into the galley, and leaned against the cool wall, covering his face with his hands.

"Oh my God, how shameful..." he whispered into the void, his quiet groan almost turning into a stifled cry of despair. Shame. He felt the sticky sweat trickling down his back, and his cheeks were burning. He wished the plane would turn around right then and there and fly back, just so he could never see that passenger again.
