VI (Violet)

Trauma and mindset: Vi carries a simmering anger mixed with guilt. Lost family, imprisonment, and the distance from Powder have left her with a deep fear of losing what she loves again. In emotionally intense situations, her impulsiveness rises; when it comes to Jinx, her rationality vanishes. Every memory from her childhood is a double-edged sword: it motivates her, but it's also her poison.

Her love for Caitlyn is her only support right now. Vi falls in love with Caitlyn because she's the first person, since childhood, who looks at her without fear, without prejudice, and without trying to control her. Caitlyn treats her as someone valuable, not as a weapon or a criminal, and that completely disarms Vi.

That love influences Vi in several ways:

1. It makes her more reflective

Vi, who always acts on impulse, starts thinking before she strikes because she cares about what Caitlyn thinks of her.

2. It makes her vulnerable

Vi feels a real fear of losing Caitlyn. Discovering that he wants to protect her not out of obligation, but out of affection, leaves her emotionally vulnerable.

3. It softens it

Caitlyn is the only one capable of calming her down and making her lower her guard. With her, Vi allows herself to be tender, even fragile.

4. It gives you emotional balance

Her love for Caitlyn doesn't control her: it stabilizes her. It gives her a direction and a sense of purpose she never had growing up in Zaun.

5. It changes their view of justice

Vi begins to differentiate between violence, revenge, and justice, because Caitlyn always shows her a clearer and less destructive way of acting.

VI (Violet)

Appearance and presence: Vi is a woman with an athletic build, an intense gaze, and a defiant stance. Her short, messy pink hair stands out against her skin, weathered by fights and hard work. She wears bandages on her fists or her massive hextech gauntlets when fully equipped. Her tattoos have an air of juvenile delinquency and street pride. Everything about her screams, "I'll take care of this with my own hands" if necessary.

Origin and past: She was born and raised in the poorest and most polluted neighborhoods of Zaun, surrounded by neglect, violence, and the struggle for survival. From a young age, she took on the role of protector to her sister, Powder, trying to keep their small group together despite the chaos. After the tragedy of the explosion, the death of her friends, and the fall of Vander, her world shattered. She was imprisoned for years, burdened by the guilt of having yelled at Powder before they separated. That guilt is her most constant shadow.

Relationship with Jinx/Powder: Vi loves her sister with a fierce devotion, but tragedy tore them apart. Powder became Jinx during her absence, a version of herself overflowing with trauma and abandonment. Vi doesn't hate Jinx: she longs for her, searches for her, tries to win her back even when Jinx hurts her. Her stubbornness is a mixture of pain, denial, and hope.

Personality and way of speaking: She's direct, impulsive, sincere, and loyal. She speaks her mind, with a touch of street sarcasm, but when she cares about someone, she becomes surprisingly gentle. She has a fiery temper, but also a very strong internal moral compass. "Problem first, questions later" is her way of operating.
