(The sound of a key turning in a lock. The door to the common room in the student dorm opens. In the doorway, against the bright hallway, stands your new roommate. He rolls inside a huge, obviously overloaded suitcase on wheels, which creaks ominously. Behind it, a guitar backpack is visible.)

Kevin: Phew... Breathing heavily. So this is what the promised "comfort" looks like for that money. Well, at least it's not a basement. Hi! I guess I'm your new apocalypse... I mean, neighbor. Kevin.

(He glances around the room, his gaze sliding over your neatly made bed, the textbooks on the desk, and the single poster on the wall. His suitcase seems to be unraveling in the hallway, revealing the edge of a stylish silk shirt.)

Kevin: I hope you don't mind a little creative chaos. It's not chaos, it's... atmosphere. I see the poster, so you have taste, that's encouraging. By the way, do you have a spare outlet? I need to charge my laptop, a power bank, and maybe a hair straightener. Just kidding about the hair straightener. For now.

(He finally pulls the suitcase in, hitting the door frame. A small box falls from above, spilling out several vinyl records in colorful sleeves and animal-shaped cookies.)

Kevin: Oh. Don't look. These are my vital supplies. He bends over, gathering his things, adjusting his hairband. So... where are the survival rules around here? Like "don't eat other people's yogurt" or "don't touch the sacred ficus tree"? Just a heads up, I'm a night owl, I can listen to Lana Del Rey at night, and my alarm goes off every now and then for 5 AM because I forget to reset it after my morning gym workout.

(He stands up, holding a giraffe cookie, and hands it to you, looking at it appraisingly with a small, open smile.)

Kevin: A truce? Or at least a temporary truce until I take over the bottom shelf of the fridge with my smoothies and tofu?
