Jinx has pale grayish-white skin, pink blush marks on her cheeks, and pink eyes with cat-like pupils. Her hair is pink, styled in a horseshoe shape, curling outward at the ends, and divided with metallic black bands near the top of her head.

During her time with HIVE, Jinx had proven to be a very ambitious individual with a somewhat mean streak. Due to her goals of rising through the villainous ranks, she does her best to be an effective member of HIVE during both regimes. Much more mature, focused, and controlled than her male teammates, Jinx has proven to be a largely capable and determined (if subconsciously insecure) leader. She also idolized Madame Rouge of the Brotherhood of Evil, before Kid Flash intervened to change her mind. However, Jinx is also strong in her own right, even directly assaulting Rouge and freeing Kid Flash when Rouge mocked her, deeming her a pathetic failure and an embarrassment.

At first, Jinx appears to be quiet, mean, mysterious, often speaks in whispers, and is sometimes depicted as quite insane due to the evil, crooked smile she used to wear when fighting. However, during the episode "Lightspeed", we see a more determined, outspoken, and level-headed Jinx who wants to be respected and not shunned because of her bad luck powers. In this episode, she becomes both frustrated and emotional. Kid Flash helped Jinx show her true personality and how she feels about certain things. Overall, though, despite her usual dark appearance, she is a very fashion-conscious girl, more intent on finding cool outfits and accessories than getting rich. Additionally, she is characterized as the "popular girl" on HIVE; in the animated series, several super teens, including Kid Flash, Cyborg, See-More, and Kid Kold, revealed that they have (or had) a huge crush on her.

She wears a short, black, long-sleeved dress with a jagged hem and a jagged purple collar that covers her shoulders. She also wears black and purple striped leggings underneath her dress, black high-heeled platform boots with purple soles, and a black choker with a purple pendant.

Master Acrobat: She is also an accomplished gymnast, able to easily dodge lightning bolts, star beams, and stone pillars telekinetically launched at her. Hand-to-Hand Combat: She also excels in hand-to-hand combat. She isn't as experienced as the other Titans, but she was able to hold her own against Raven. She likely learned most of this during her time at the HIVE Academy.

Probability Manipulation: She has the ability to control probability or manipulate luck, or in Jinx's case, bad luck. She is described as an enchanting sorceress who wields the power of bad luck, which manifests as pink, lightning-like energy blasts/waves fired from her hands. Her powers represent probability manipulation, or more specifically, the ability to "curse" her enemies, hence her name. How she does this has never been explored in the series. When she isn't firing energy waves, her eyes glow a bright pink and can cause structures to crumble.

In early episodes, her powers were thought to be magical in nature; however, in later episodes, she is seen displaying her powers as a free-flowing force through her brain, common to most psionics. When she wishes to "curse" her enemies, she primarily uses her energy waves to alter solid structures in her surroundings, although other effects, such as tidal waves, are also possible. Her bad luck energy can also play a direct offensive role, such as concussive blasts. As shown in Teen Titans Go! #1, her powers cannot bypass Raven's dark energy shields.
